She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She attended New Mexico State University (NMSU) completing her Bacheor of Arts in Theatre with wigs and make up as her focus. During her attendance at NMSU she had designed 9 shows. After graduating in May 2012 she completed her Masters of Wig & Makeup Design in May 2, 2015. Since then she has traveled around to Glimmerglass Opera, Central City Opera, Dayton Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Playmakers Theater Company, Sarasota Opera & Ogunquit Playhouse.
